One thing I love about our community is that history has shown that we come together when one of our own is in time of need. We never hope for these situations, but they are an unfortunate reality of life. That time has come again - this time from Almond Surfboards founder, Dave Allee. We’d like to ask our readers to help if you have the means to do so, and they are raffling off a 9’6 Lumberjack as a way to show their appreciation.

“You may or may not know, but our sister Megan runs the back end of this surfboard business, and never skipped a beat during her chemo treatments last year.

Recently, she was informed that insurance would no longer be covering the costs of her treatment (effective 5 months ago). We put together a GoFundMe to help Megan, Kyle, and Teddy so they can continue to pay for her treatments.

Rules:
We are doing this for the sole purpose of helping our sister.  The surfboard is merely a way of us thanking you guys for helping her.  Winner will be responsible for any shipping costs or applicable import fees.
